DA reaches plea agreement with six

MONTAGUE – The 97th District Attorney’s Office announced reaching plea agreements with six felony defendants on seven charges Thursday, two of which received deferred adjudication, sentences for two defendants were probated, and two defendants were ordered to serve time, one on two separate charges.

Anthony Jarrod Duncan, 39, pled guilty to the Oct. 27, 2017, offense of manufacture, possession or delivery of a controlled substance Penalty Group 2 or 2-A greater than 400 grams. He was sentenced to 7 years deferred adjudication, ordered to perform 320 hours of community service and to pay a $3,500 fine, $290 in court costs.

Logan Scott Finch, 34, pled guilty to the March 2, 2019, offense of driving while intoxicated-third or more offense, and was sentenced to 10 years prison, which was probated for six years. He was ordered to perform 160 hours of community service and to pay a $3,500 fine and $290 in court costs.

Christopher Adam Reed, 37, pled guilty to the April 18, 2019, offense of burglary of a building. He was sentenced to 12 months in state jail, credited with 220 days for time served, and ordered to pay $290 in court costs. Reed also pled guilty to the April 27, 2019, offense of burglary of a building and received the same punishment – 12 months in state jail, credit for 220 days of time served, and court costs of $290.

Cory Keith Litts, 33, pled guilty to the Aug. 25, 2018, offense of possession of a controlled substance Penalty Group 1 more than 4 but less than 200 grams. He was sentenced to 5 years in state prison, credited with 590 days for time served, and ordered to pay $290 in court costs.

Ramone Renardo Queen, 33, pled guilty to the July 21, 2018, offense of possession of a controlled substance Penalty Group 2 more than 4 but less than 400 grams and was sentenced to 3 years deferred adjudication. He was ordered to perform 240 hours community service and to pay a $1,500 fine and $290 in court costs.

Davey Glenn Hickman, 39, pled guilty to the Jan. 19, 2019, offense of possession of a controlled substance Penalty Group 1 less than 1 gram and was sentenced to 2 years in prison, probated for 5 years. He was ordered to perform 120 hours of community service and to pay a $1,000 fine and $290 in court costs.
