PenTex Energy postpones members meeting
MUENTER – To protect the health and well-being of our members, employees and community PenTex Energy is following the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and is postponing the cooperative’s annual meeting due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
PenTex, formerly Cooke County Electric Cooperative, released its annual report which was distributed to members with the April copy of “Texas Coop Power” magazine. Included with that publication was the notice the meeting had been postponed.
Once the pandemic has run its course, the annual meeting will be rescheduled, and members will be notified.
“We appreciate your patience and understanding during these unprecedented times,” PenTex’s leadership sated.
PenTex Energy provides electricity to about half of the northern half of Montague County.
