As a staff member walks a week’s worth of breakfasts and lunches to a car, Nocona Elementary School Principal Rod Bailey calls for more.

Every Monday, as long as Nocona Schools are closed for the Covid-19 epidemic, educators will be distributing a week’s worth of breakfasts and lunches every Monday morning, as well as lesson plans for those students without internet accessibility.

Monday was the first such event, and campus administrators called it both a success, and a learning experience.

“As far as the first weekly distribution, in my opinion it went smoothly; but we discovered that we can make some adjustments for next week,” commented Nocona Elementary Principal Windi Womack.
