Project Show starts Thursday morning

Young exhibitors got to practice their show skills over the Christmas break getting ready for the Montague County Youoth Fair which starts Thursday in Nocona.

With just over 900 individual entries, the 2020 Montague County Youth Fair kicks off bright and early Thursday morning at the Montague County Agricultural Activities Center (Show Barn) here in Nocona.

Hosted by the Youth Fair Committee, the show allows 4-H, FFA and FCCLA members from across the county exhibit their skills in livestock management as well as a variety of crafts, foods and trade skills.

There is a total of 313 exhibitors presenting 906 entries in this year’s show.

Thursday’s activities will center around Farm Shop Projects (at the Nocona Community Center) with Poultry, Lamb, Dairy Cattle and Goat Shows taking place in the Ag Barn.
