Eagles humble Lady Indians
HOLLIDAY – The Lady Indians suffered their first loss in district play Saturday as the Holliday Lady Eagles spanked them 25-22, 26-24, 25-14 in a tough contest replete with complaints from the Indians stands about the officiating.
“We did not show up and play our game,” coach Tiffany Clay bluntly assessed after the match.
“We had a high number of unforced errors,” she said. The issue of unforced errors is a continuation of what had happened in a straight set win over Henrietta four days earlier.
