The 20th Annual Buckle Up for Lane’s Sake Volleyball Tournament kicks off Thursday morning at 8 a.m. and for whomever makes it to a finals on Saturday, it may be a brutal trek through a deep, play-off seasoned line up.
All of the action will take place in one of the three NISD gymnasiums as the field includes defending Class 3A state champion Callisburg, 3A state finalist Boyd, 2A state finalist Lindsay, Class 4A state semi-finalist Melissa and Class 1A state semi-finalist Bryson.
Toss is six other teams which went at least three rounds deep in last year’s playoffs, and there is no ‘safe’ pool for this edition of the Buckle Up.
Host Nocona finds itself facing four play-off veterans in Pool E: 4A regional semi-finalist Sanger, defending state champion Callisburg, and bi-district veterans Burkburnett (4A) and Electra (2A)
