#21 District 83A MVP Averee Kleinhans

This year junior Nocona guard Averee Kleinhans did not share the District MVP honors with anyone.

As a sophomore, Kleinhans and Childress’ Grace Foster shared the MVP honors as the two teams split the home-and-home season.

This year there was no sharing, as Nocona swept through District 8-3A undefeated as thus dominated the All-District honors.

Joining Kleinhans on the All-District first team were senior guard Trystin Fenoglio, junior guard and defensive specialist Chloe Daughtry and sophomore post Karlee Brown. Daughtry lost out on the Defensive MVP award although she held Offensive MVP Brown to season lows in both meetings.

Junior guard Sydni Messer was named to the second team.

Seven Lady Indians were named to the Academic All-District Team: Fenoglio, Kleinhans, junior post Laci Stone, Brown, junior guard Kylie Rose, Messer, and sophomore wing Stephany Gutierrez.
