Kleinhans named to TGCA All-State and All-Star Teams

Nocona junior Averee Kleinhans was named to the Texas Girls Coaches Associations’ Class 3A All-State Team last week.

Additionally, she has been named to the TGCA All-Star Team and will play in the exhibition match this summer along with other juniors including recent foe Torrye Tyler of Brock in a team of all stars from the state’s four smallest classifications.

Kleinhans was named the District 8-3A MVP for the second year in a row.

Kleinhans was also named to the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches All-Region Team for Region 1 Class 3A. Also named to the All-region team were Childress’ Grace Foster, Bowie’s Jayci Logan, Brock’s Ashlynn Tutter and Torrye Tyler
