Library Friends gift council with memberships

Friends of the Library President Hobie Meekins visits with the Nocona City Council.

Members of the Nocona City Council were given complimentary, one-year memberships last Tuesday in the Nocona Friends of the Library as part of National Friends of the Library Month.

Hobie Meekins, president of the Friends as well as a member of the Nocona Public Library Advisory Board, along with fellow Friends and Board Member Marsha Williams attended the council meeting briefing the council on some of the library’s activities and functions.
