Two shot clinics set

There will be two shot clinics held in Montague County in November by the Texas Department of State Health Services as parents get their children ready for the start of the school year.

The first will be held on Thursday, Nov. 7. 1at at the Freedom Life Church, 204 Theatre Road, in Bowie from 10-11:30 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. The last appointment will be at 2:30 p.m.

The second will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the First Baptist Church from 10-11:30 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. The last appointments will be at 2:30 p.m.

Vaccine is available for children eligible American Indian, Alaskan Native, underinsured, no insurance and Medicaid.

Please bring the patient’s shot record and Medicaid card.

No CHIPS accepted. If your child is covered by private insurance that pays for immunizations the Health Department cannot vaccinate.

The Adult Safety Net eligibility is for those with no insurance. For more information contact the TDSHS Offices in Gainesville at 940-665-9315 option 5.
