Council agrees to close streets for Halloween

Mrs. Shelby Fuller asks the Nocona City Council to close Carolyn Rd. and Oaklawn Dr. for Halloween.
When Halloween rolls around this year, for the children’s safety the streets into two neighborhoods in Nocona will be closed to vehicular traffic.
Last Tuesday night the Nocona City Council approved a request to close Carolyn Road and Oaklawn Drive in southwest Nocona, and Hillcrest Drive in southeast Nocona, that evening.
“We’re wanting it blocked off for the kid’s sake,” explained Mrs. Shelby Fuller, wife of Councilman Robert Fuller and a resident on Carolyn Road.
