Barbara Shaw

Barbara Shaw

Mrs. Barbara Ann (Bryant) Shaw passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Sept. 7, 2019, at her home in Nocona at the age of 73.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Doyle Shaw of Nocona; her daughter, Traci Wells of Saint Jo; sons Ethan Shaw of Wichita Falls and Enoch Shaw of Nocona. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Barbara was born on Oct. 22, 1945, in Ashland, Ala., to Douglas and Margaret Bryant. She graduated from high school in Marshall and married Doyle Show, and together they welcomed three children into the world.

Her children remember her as a kind, gentle and God-fearing mother who loved her family and our Lord and Savior. She was a homemaker, bookkeeper, and an active and dedicated member of the Montague Holiness Church where she often played music and sang.

A memorial is scheduled for Sept. 22 at the Montague Holiness Church with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Barbara’s life.

The family would like to thank friends and family

Barbara was an inspiration to everyone who knew her. She will be sorely missed. It was always a blessing to see and hear her talk about her Jesus. I love you Sister Barbara and will miss you greatly
