OLNEY — Elizabeth Lynn “Beth” Gambill, 67, of Olney, passed away Friday, Nov. 1, 2019, in Olney.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 5, at the First Presbyterian Church of Bowie, with Rev. Joan Gaines officiating.

Burial will follow at Nocona Cemetery in Nocona.

Family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 4, at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie.

Beth was born in the Fort Worth area on Feb. 20, 1952, to William and Bobbeye (Burks) Howe. She graduated from Tarrant County Community College with an Associated Degree in Paralegal Studies.

On May 29, 1981, she married Joe Gambill in North Richland Hills. In 1995 the couple moved to Nocona, where Beth worked as an office manager for the Benton-Whiteside Ranch for several years. They then moved to Olney, and Beth worked as the office manager for Deen Drilling for 15 years.

She loved to paint and draw, as well as any other arts and crafts. Beth enjoyed being a wife and mother, raising their three children.

She is preceded in death by her father William Howe, her brother William Howe Jr., and her son Joshua Joseph Gambill, who passed in 2005.

Beth is survived by her husband Joe Gambill of Olney; children Erin Dunn of Fort Worth and Hale Gambill and wife Kathleen of Wichita Falls; her mother Bobbeye Howe of North Richland Hills; and grandson Owen Hale Gambill.

Arrangements entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home of Bowie.
