After suffering a fire on Monday, Aug. 18, which caused extensive damage to the outside of the store, a Dollar General spokesperson was virtually non-committal about the firm’s plans to resume operations in Nocona.
“At this time, we are in the process of evaluating next steps regarding our store in Nocona, Texas,” Angela Petkovic, a public relations representative for the Tennessee-based firm, said Thursday.
“We expect to have updated plans on the store’s future at the conclusion of that evaluation.,” she said giving no indication of when a decision would be made.
