Talking Tombstone Tour

The Montague County Historical Commission will be hosting a Talking Tombstone Tour in the Old Spanish Fort Cemetery.

The tour will start at the Valley View Baptist Church at 2 p.m. on September 28. There will be a few short speeches before the tour begins in the cemetery. There you will meet some colorful characters that helped to shape our county’s history.

After the tour of the cemetery, we will return to the church for soup and sweets. The cost is $10 per person, children under 12, $5. Pay at the event.
