Court delays vote on subdivision rules for revisions

MONTAGUE – Initially County Judge Rick Lewis thought the county commissioners would adopt the new subdivision rules on Monday.

But after hearing over an hour’s worth of comments and requests for clarification from five individuals Monday morning, the court voted to table the rules to allow the county’s local government law attorney to redraft some of the provisions addressing issues that realtors and surveyors brought to the court’s attention.
