Old Bowie hospital on auction block; entities seize ventilators, equipment
Three tax entities, two in Bowie, took steps Wednesday to seize the personal property of Central Hospital of Bowie in an attempt to collect some $113,000 in past-due taxes.
Among the items seized was the equipment and inventory left in the facility including ventilators and other medical equipment, masks and other personal protective equipment as well as cleaning supplies.
The tax warrant auction will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, April 10, at 100 Park Road in Nocona – the address of Nocona General Hospital.
