NISD to replace 104 of 118 HVAC units

While students may remain isolated at home for at least 10 more days, and most likely longer, the Nocona School Board voted Friday to undertake a $1,575,665 upgrade to the district’s heating and air conditioning systems hoping to have all of the work completed before the scheduled start of the 2020-2021 school year.

Friday afternoon the board met in its first “stay-at-home” tele video board meeting – each participant logged in from a different location.

The major item on the agenda was to consider and adopt a proposal from E3 to replace 104 of the district’s 118 heating and air conditioning units in the school district.
