Library closing

With the vast majority of its day-to-day patrons utilizing the free computer service and not checking out books, City Manager Lynn Henley ordered the library closed for the foreseeable future.

“Those keyboards, and mice, are hard to keep clean, the table tops, everywhere these people are touching could be a source,” Henley said adding, “I may not be able to do much, I’m going to do what I can to help stop the spread.”

“Checking out books, and the doors, we could do that,” he said, “but the keyboards are hard to clean so I decided to close the library.”
