Mona Nored

Mona Nored, 67, died on Monday, Feb. 24, 2020, in Nocona.

She was born on May 13, 1952, in Childress to Marion & Nyla Cummings Morton.

Mona worked as a ward clerk at the hospital for many years.

Mona is survived by her daughter, Kenda Kirby and husband Brannen of Nocona, sisters, Marion Moore of Bowie, May Farley of Bowie, Jackie Johnson of Post Oak, Linda Nolan of Bowie, Glenda Dancy of Nocona; two grandchildren, Steve and Brenna Kirby and one great-grandchild, Abigail Kirby.

Mona was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, E.J. Dicken, daughter, Kara Nored, and brothers, Eddie Dicken, Don Lyles and Ray Morton.

There will be a memorial service held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, at Jerry Woods Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Berry officiating.
