Volunteer fireman charged with arson
A Ringgold volunteer fireman was arrested and charged with arson of open land as a result of a multi-agency investigation.
Stephen Travis Lemon, 26, of Nocona, was arrested on Jan. 6 by the Montague County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of arson of an open space or land. Bond was set at $25,000.
“He was a volunteer fireman,” Chief Deputy Sheriff Jack Lawson said Monday. “He was setting fires so they could go put them out.
