Girls race past Burk

Karlee Brown outruns the Burkburnett defense for a quick bucket.

The Nocona Lady Indians’ three-headed monster of senior guard Trystin Fenoglio, junior forward Averee Kleinhans and sophomore post Karlee Brown took a hit – to Brown’s ankle – early in the fourth period when Brown fell to the floor yelling in pain as her running layup attempt was sandwiched by a pair of Burkburnett Lady Bulldogs.

While she would spend the rest of the game on the trainer’s table, her ankle iced, the Lady Indians rolled to a 66-37 win as Kleinhans simply took over on the offensive end finishing the game with 23 points.

Fenoglio added 16 and Brown 14 as the Indians taught Burk a lesson – don’t press the tribe.
