Darlene Ballinger

MONTGOMERY — Leila Darlene Ballinger, went to be with our Lord on Nov. 18, 2019, she went unexpectedly of natural causes.

She was born in Lyndon, Kan., but moved to Nocona in the early 60’s, she spent most of her life there until moving to Montgomery, Texas to be closer to her oldest daughter and her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Helen and father, Ralph “Red” Kennedy, and also her daughter, Sandra Ballinger.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Briscoe; her grandchildren, Mandy Jacobs Jones and her children Tanner and Madison Jones, Donnie Jerry Jacobs, his wife Tara and their children, Joe, Emily, Liz, Allie and Brooke, Kaleigh Childs, her husband Nick and daughter, Kennedy, and Dylan Briscoe, his wife Karie, with a little one on the way.

She loved life, her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and all her fur babies. She had a green thumb and loved all flowers. She liked her coffee and watching crime shows on TV.  She loved spending time with her family. All of her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren say she was the Best Grandma Ever.  She is greatly missed by all.
