Lady Indians down Porcupines in opener
SPRINGTOWN – The Lady Indians had to survive a whistle-fest Tuesday to win their season opener 64-45 over Class 4A Springtown.
The game was a tale of two halves. The first half Nocona’s attacking offense forced foul after foul by the Lady Porcupines, although the Indians failed to properly punish Springtown for their errors converting just 9 of 22 free throws to grab a 26 to 13 lead at the half.
