Blum eliminates Lady Dogs at regionals

MIDLOTHIAN – Another year of firsts came to an end Friday afternoon in a dog and cat fight as the Blum Lady Cats downed the Prairie Valley Lady Bulldogs in straight sets 25-15, 25-18, 25-10 in the semi-finals of the Region II-1A Volleyball Tournament.

Too many unforced errors by Prairie Valley and too many weapons from the Lady Cats spelled the difference in ending the Lady Dogs thrilling season which saw them capture their second district and area volleyball crowns in consecutive years along with their first-ever regional quarterfinals title and first-ever berth in the regional tournament.
