Bowie cruises past Lady Indians

BOWIE – With playoff seedings already determined, all the volleyball teams from Nocona and Bowie had to play for was pride, and Bowie’s desire to finish the District 8-3A race undefeated prevailed in a straight-set win 25-22, 25-16, 25-19 over the Nocona Lady Indians last Tuesday.
Nocona finished the regular season at 32-10, 7-3 in district play having lost twice to Bowie and once to third place Holliday which ended the campaign at 6-4 with Henrietta taking the fourth place berth in the state playoffs at 5-5 – losing twice each to Bowie and Nocona and splitting matches with Holliday.
