Participants learn how to make arrowheads
Sergio Ayala, of the Gault School of Archeological Research, demonstrated some of the properties of chert and how striking it with a hard object can fracture the stone in the process of knapping the flint into a cutting tool. The demonstration took place at the Tales ‘N’ Trails Museum Saturday.
